Design and Printing

Description

Creation of artworks

Our printing team includes creative designers, technical staff and preprinting specialists.
The designers of Atlantis-Pak are experts with special professional training and years of work experience.
We can always design and process a free artwork of any complexity that fits your specifications and our printing equipment.

Printing

The consistently high quality of our printing is guaranteed by the skill of our printers, the quality management system, and the unique equipment developed jointly with Ko-Pack (Japan). This makes it possible to use casings for reproduction of images comparable, in terms of quality, with offset printing on paper.

All inks used for marking are fat- and water-resistant. The image printed on the casing will not deteriorate under the effect of temperature, is inert to the components of process smoke and resistant to friction; it stretches and contracts with the casing. Our printing inks are absolutely harmless to health and permitted for use in contact with food products, as confirmed by the corresponding certificates.

Single- and multi-color printing

Single-color printing means printing with an ink of a single color.
Multi-color printing is printing with several 'ready-made' color inks (e.g., printing with white, yellow, red, and gold is four-color printing).

Full-color printing

In the case of CMYK printing, all colors and shades are obtained by mixing of four 'basic' colors – cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK) directly on the printed surface (casing). This type of printing makes it possible to print highly complex images, such as photos.

UV printing

This is printing with UV-cured inks that instantly polymerize under the effect of UV radiation.

Printing options:

  • images of any complexity;
  • quality comparable to offset printing;
  • unlimited number of 'live' colors and shades;
  • no joints on solid images;
  • printing on the whole surface of the casing – full bleed printing;
  • use of the smallest (4pt) font in artworks;
  • consistency of the color shades within the print run and in the next runs.

UV-CMYK printing

The UV-CMYK printing is based on the use of cyan, magenta, yellow and black colors. All other colors and shades are obtained by mixing of these four colors. White ink is additionally used as the substrate. No other colors are used.
The UV-CMYK printing offers the same advantages as the standard UV printing.
However, the costs of the UV-CMYK printing is substantially lower than those of the standard UV printing.
The UV-CMYK printing is a way to reduce the costs of the casing, while preserving the printing quality.
